Game meets Girl

Kristen's video game review show.

Idea is simple really. Its gonna be my opinion of video games, where I critique it and give it a personal rating meeting the following criteria....

outline:
-Plot/story
-Gameplay
-Graphics
-Things to mention (pros /cons)
-Ratings/Overall

%rating plus Letter Grade.

Simple as it sounds, I'm gonna add my little sizzle to it.
Acting out parts of the game, and adding some humor to it as well.

Also a part of the show I want to be about Gamer girl perspective on things.
Not too many girls take on such a male oriented audience. I want to be one that stands out.

So far on youtube I only found one gamer girl show called GAMERGIRLSROCK, this chick has the right idea but not the tools that I do.

Hopefully I can get this off the ground and make a really kick ass show.

Welcome to my Production Blog

I decided to start a blog on the projects I make and let you guys in on the "behind the scenes" of my films and projects.

I've been helping out my friend recently with his iCam project and learning green screen at the same time.

He wanted to make his own rendition of the video game bust-a-groove.

Knowing my background of dance, he asked me to help.

Production took a really long time.
We had the basic storyboard outlined from start to finish but setting up and controlling the lighting was the hardest part.

Lighting is critical when it comes to green screen. Our ghetto made (2 shades of green) Green screen worked as planned, but was so difficult to get set up.

Over all I learned a lot about green screen effects, the importance of consistent lighting and framing.
